The Bewitching Charisma of time

Time is an illusion many have said and repeated,
yet the unsettling reality of time is no illusion,
its illusion is a trap, and its reality nothing more than aging,
as sands pass through the hour glass these are the days of our lives,

our lives that seem like eternal foreverness, yet pass ever to fast,
fill us with richness, of joy and happiness,
while the ghosts of our pasts steal from us as darkness lurking,
eager to remind us, to make us surrender to the mistakes we have made,
to the mistakes made before us, to the never ending feeling of mishap,
injustice and pain,

time changes me and you, and changes what we want to do,
cradles us and strips us back to the surrendering foul,
our world, my world , your world,
what is in now? it makes us burn our souls in the fireplace of fortune,
the hubs of success which dictate a life of slow and painful rot

and now i leave, of to work, more fuel for my fire

A Buddha without a face

what is a buddha without a face
minus an identity - a fingerprint
the buddha without the smile and the reassurance,
a beam of light that can reach down and touch even the heart of a devout christian -

without his face is he or she still a symbol of light
or simply a manafacturing default- void of its inherant definition
it is simply , still a buddha - with no face
